A female member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has been found dead in Ilorin, the capital of Kwara state.

report, Yetunde Shukurat Idowu, who is a serving corps member of the 2014 NYSC Batch ‘B’ set was last spotted shopping at a popular supermarket, Shoprite, located along Fate road.

Her roommate raised alarm and alerted the police immediately.
After a thorough search, the lifeless body of the young woman was found on the street at Government Reservation Area, GRA, on May 24, Sunday night.
The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Mr. Ajayi Okasanmi confirmed the death adding, “We are still investigating, now cannot say exactly what happened. It could be a case of a hit and run or an accident.
As far as we are concerned, it was a reported case of “found dead” with a broken skull and bruises, for now I can’t tell you whether it was a case of whether rape, abduction or kidnapping.”
The incident is still under investigation, as police are trying to establish circumstances surrounding the death of the youth corps member.
