A man was murdered in Deliverance, district of
Santa Rita, with severe cruelty. Renilson Martins,
35, suspected of pedophilia, was hanged with a rope
and had his private parts severed and placed in his
mouth. According to locals in the community, the
victim is an alcoholic that wanders the streets of
Deliverance, and when under the influence of
alcohol, commits obscene acts and molests children
and teens. According to Sgt Suélio the 7th Battalion
of the Military Police, some 10 years ago Remílson
was accused of raping his niece. Renilson was found
with a rope tied around his neck and feet. The way
the crime was executed leads the police to believe that
the main motive of the murder was the victim's
involvement with minors.
