APC’s Collapse Imminent, Akande Warns Buhari, Governors

Former Interim Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Bisi Akande, yesterday, called on President Muhammadu Buhari and governors elected on thePLATFORM of the APC to settle the differences in the party andSAVE it from imminent collapse.

“What began as political patronages to be shared into APC membership, spreads among ethnic zones, religious faiths and political rankings and experiences have nowBECOME so complicated that the sharing has to be done by and among PDP leadership together with cohorts of former new-PDP affiliations in the APC, by and among gangs of past anti-Buhari’s presidency, and certain APC legislators and party members who dance round the crisis arena to pick some crumbs,” Akandee told Vaanguard.

The one time governor of Osun State described the crisis within the APC as a conspiracy, stressing; “now that the whole conspiracy has blown open, it is doubtful if thePRESENT institutions of party leadership can muster the required capacity to arrest the drift.

“It is my opinion that President Buhari, and the APC governors should now see APC as a wrecking platform that may not be strong enough again to carry them to political victory in 2019 and they should quickly begin a joint damage control effort to reconstruct the party in its claim to bring about the promised change before the party’s shortcomings begin to aggravate the challenges of governance in their hands,” Akande stated.

Davido On NDLEA Wanted List

Multiple award winner and Omo Baba Olowo (OBO) crooner, David Adedeji Adeleke aka Davido isPRESENTLY in hot soup and many are hoping his father’s fame and wealth will be able to get him out of it.

The Aye singer, Davido, isPRESENTLY the most wanted person by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

His new musical video titled ‘Fans Mi’ which Davido took to Instagram last week to celebrate its hittingONE million views on Youtube in 10 days has put him in trouble with the NDLEA.

The music video is said toFEATURE scenes of Davido discussing with an unidentified man as they bargain over a briefcase of dollars and parcels of hard drugs.

The song is supposed to promote the Omo Baba Olowo crooner’s gratitude and appreciation to his fans for their love and support towards his career over the years. However, the singer was busy singing about his enemies andMONEY, showcasing hard drugs, nudity and guns in the video.

The video in which he featured MaybachGROUP artist, Meek Mill, also has series of lewd scenes.
Many had expected the song t promotes Davido’s gratitude to his fans for their love and support of his style of music as the title of the song implies instead the singer was singing about his presumed enemies andMONEY. The video also showcase hard drugs, nudity and guns.

In response to Sunday Telegraph’s mail, NDLEA’s Head of Public Affairs, Mr. Mitchell Ofoyeju said, “The agency considers the musical video, ‘Fans Mi’ inappropriate and indecent. It has the tendency to negativelyINFLUENCE and induce drug use and trafficking. Besides, it is counter-productive on the campaign against drug production, trafficking and abuse. The agency is also investigating the matter and will take necessary action,” he concluded.

Also commenting on the music video is popular music video critic, Mrs. Nuella O’Peters who voiced her concerns on the video saying:

“It’s really outrageous seeing aBRAND ambassador and a mentor to millions of African youths indulging in such acts. He even went as far as using the substance for cooking in the video.
Can you imagine! It’s uncalled for. I do hope the Nigeria BroadcastingCORPORATION will do something about the video.”

The HKN act, Davido,  few weeks back  was alleged to have said the video of ‘Fans Mi’ is the most expensive video of his musical career.

‘Fans Mi’ isONE of the songs in his sophomore album whose release date was postponed for an undisclosed reason.

Martinez Confirms Atletico Madrid Move

A few days ago his agentCONFIRMED it and now all the way from Chile or not, Colombia’s Jackson Martinez is confirming his move to Atletico.

Atletico made the forward their second signing up front after letting Mandzukic go. The former Porto man was poised toJOIN Milan but opted for Atletico at the last minute.

“I can confirm I am going to Atletico,” Martinez told reporters in Vina del Mar.

“I am going there for four years, but I still don’t know when I will be introduced.

“I have had a great progression, always learning, always growing, and now I’m going to Atletico where I hope to help the team and also continue toGROW as a player.

Mata Hopes Hernandez Stays At United

Real recognises real. Juan Mata has expressed his thought on the Chicharito situation and has urged coach, LVG to hold on to the Mexican.

Hernandez popularly known has Chicharito spent the whole of last season on loan at the Bernabeu where he struggled for first team football. Hernandez willJOIN United soon and discuss his future with LVG.

Team-mate Mata, though, hopes Hernandez will decide to stay and fight for his place with the Red Devils and hailed his natural goalscoring instincts.

We’re Unhappy With Recent Developments In NASS – APC State Chairmen

The All Progressives Congress chairmen from the 36 states of the federation on Friday expressed displeasure at recent happenings in the National Assembly.

This is contained in a communique issued in Abuja by the Acting Chairman of the APC State Chairmen Forum, Alhaji Umar Mohammed.

The News Agency ofNIGERIA reports that the chairmen converged on the federalCAPITALfor a meeting, which began on Thursday, to review current leadership challenges facing the NASS.

There was a free-for-all in the lower chamber of the National Assembly over theCHOICE of principal officers and sittings had to be adjourned till July 21.

The two-day meeting of the chairmen, apparently not yielding result, led to the adjournment of the forum toNEXT week.

According to the communique, the chairmen met to reaffirm their belief and loyalty to the party’s supremacy as contained in its constitution.

“AsDIRECT grassroots leaders, we are concerned about the development and, therefore, reaffirm our belief and loyalty to APC’s supremacy as contained in the party’s constitution and decision of its leadership.

“We are also not happy with recent developments in the National Assembly, especially the lower chamber, and call on the party leadership to put in place proper machineries to checkmate further occurrences.

“We also call on party leaders to use the long break to resolve the matter so that the much needed change will be seen and enjoyed by everybody”, the communique urged.

Most of the time, we’re open to new ideas/locations/toys, assuming we’ve talked about it or gone s*x toySHOPPING with you.

But if brings home a strap-on, a clown outfit, or a muzzle without asking you how you’d feel about wearing said muzzle, sister, he may not be the man for you.
