The Federal Government and petrol marketers have agreed to put an end to Nigeria’s fuel scarcity problems.
OIL MARKETERSon Friday said they have dispatched 700 trucks of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), to Abuja as part of efforts to end fuel queues at filling stations nationwide.
They made this known at the end of a meeting which was held in Abuja at the headquarters of the petroleum ministry with the Federal Government and other stakeholders in oil and gas sector.
While reading out the resolution , the Permanent Secretary, Taiye Haruna, said it was agreed that the PPMC, as well as marketers, should increase the level of product supply across the country.
“We have also agreed that efforts be made to clear these long queues before the end of June 13, 2015, that is next week,” he said.
