Taiwo Awoniyi was the star against Hungary with two goals
A user by the name, Chukwus Ese Trust was spiritual in predicting the Eagles chances. He said: “Thursday is our next match, Germany is not easy to win ooo, except God helps our boys”.

Two goals from Taiwo Awoniyi, one in each half, secured victory for Nigeria and the chance to face Germany in the round of 16.
The first of Awoniyi’s two strikes came in the 33rd minute after a wonderful cross from Sunday Godwin. The striker added another at the start of the second half, finishing a long throw from goalkeeper Enaholo with a wonderful solo effort.
Nigeria will face the Germany U-20 team on Thursday and victory will see them play one of Ghana or Mali.
