Stars Disgraced In Ebonyi State

Nigerian musician Terry G, popular On air personality, Denrele and Nollywood actress, Grace Amah and some famouse celebs were today disgraced of an Ebonyi state hotel.
 It’s said that the stars had lodged in the hotel for a programme organized to host Nollywood stars of Ebonyi State origin who are making waves in the entertainment industry.
The Ebonyi state government had arranged the show to honour it’s over 50 celebrities making the state proud.
On the honoured list were names like Cha Cha Ekeh, Grace Amah, Patoranking etc who hail from the state.

Some of the invited stars were chased out of the hotel suites arranged for them by the state Ministry of Culture and Tourism, organisers of the event.
The hotel belonged to one prominent political elder in the state and this action made some stars go to the Government House to protest the ill-treatment they received.
According to one of the stars, Sholade: “Instead of them giving us our return tickets, our appearance fee; they sent police men to forcefully eject us from our hotel room.”
Meanwhile, Grace Amah and Patoranking are yet to receive the cars they were promised after being handed car keys by the event organisers.

In reaction to the eviction, the Chairman of the Organising Committee, Dr. Jerry Uhuo said only four days was approved for the stars which elapsed Sunday night.
He said that some of the acts invited had disgraced themselves, smoking in the hotel rooms which the hotel frowned upon.
Patoranking has been having a grand year having just won the Best Newcomer award at the MAMA’s this year in Durban, South Africa.
