6:30pm when a 207 Benz bus collided with a yellow
urvan on the Juaso-Konongo road in the Ashanti
Region.
According to eyewitnesses who reported to us, the
207 Mercedes Benz overtook a vehicle resulting in
the bus colliding with the urvan car. The accident
was so severe it ended up causing more cars and
buses to crash into the accident cars. These
includeed a University of Ghana Institute of
Statistical Bus.
Lucky enough, nobody died on the bus but many were
injured and were rushed to the Konongo Hospital.
The majority of passengers that died were on the
yellow urvan car. About 15 people have been reported
dead though not confirmed.
