BREAKING: Ebola Claims Another Nigerian Doctor

A female Nigerian doctor has died at the Ebola
Emergency Treatment Centre in Lagos.
A statement by Dan Nwomeh, the spokesperson for
the Minister of Health, Onyebuchi Chukwu, said the
doctor was one of the primary contacts of Nigeria's
index Ebola case.
Mr. Nwomeh said the doctor, a consultant, was also
the most senior doctor who participated in the
management of the Liberian American, Patrick
Sawyer.
The statement did not disclose the identity of the late
doctor but she is believed to be Dr. Ameyo Stella
Adadevoh, who was erroneously reported to have
recovered a few days ago.
Her cousin, Kwami Adadevoh, tweeted a while ago
saying, " I'd like to thank you all for your prayers.
Sadly my darling cousin has been called home. She
has finished her course and now rests with God."
Condolences immediately began to pour in torrents.

The death of the senior consultant brings the number
of Ebola casualties in Nigeria to five with the index
case inclusive.
Mr. Nwomeh said two other patients currently
receiving treatment at the isolation wards are stable
and well catered for.
